A Weekend To Myself

Crazy Hip Blog Mamas poses this question: If you had a weekend all to yourself, what would you do?

If I had a weekend all to myself I would immediately sit down and make a list of all the things that I have been wanting to get done since November of 2003. I would locate my favorite fully loaded check mark making pen and place it in the ready position.

I would then go to my computer to prioritize and type up the list. And since I was at the computer, I would check my email and I would see that I had comments on my blog. Then I would go to my blog and read the comments. Then I would go to my links and read other blogs. Then I would go to their links and their links until I had devoured the entire internet in one sitting which would cause me to burp long and loud. And I wouldn’t bother to say “excuse me” because I’m alone, remember?

Then I would spend the rest of the weekend marinating in Folgers and writing silly stories about my crazy life with a toddler and why I can’t seem to get anything done.

Like baggage, it’s dangerous to leave me unattended.
