Everything you forgot to do (or did too much of) or learned to late with your own kids you can apply to the next generation. You get to enjoy every moment with a kid without the panic/anxiety/fear that you're also responsible for all the things parents have to shoulder. In bakery parlance it's the corner slice of the cake with extra icing. Any grandparent who doesn't take full advantage of the opportunity to be that person in the life of a grandchild has learned nothing. Your Sean (and his grandfather)are lucky to have each other.
