I’m not quite sure how this happened, but I’m a finalist in the parenting category. When you see the list you will see that I am SO out of my league. You should probably go vote for me before they discover that an unfortunate mistake has been made and kick me off the list. You can vote once every 24 hours through November 8th. Seriously. Just don’t leave your chad dangling people, that’s all I ask. These award things kind of make me queasy. I’m off to find the Tums.

Why WOULDN’T you be a finalist woman? You are one of the best writers I know. It’s funny though…I don’t usually think of you as a parenting blog, even though you write about parenting a lot, your blog is so much more than that. You’re incredibly versatile.

Congrats and good luck with that. However, I hate that there are blog awards. Not that you’re not worthy, you certainly are. But there are so many out there writing some very good stuff that never get the recognition. I agree with Sarah, it feels like high school year book time. Glad you’re up for Most Popular though rather than Most Likely To End Up a Vegas Dancer.

I tried voting for you today (two different times) and the “vote” kept highlighting the person below you. It worked okay the last couple days, but I wonder if something has been done to block your votes today. (Sunday, Nov. 4)
By the way, I really enjoy your blog and appreciate that it isn’t full of swear words or dirty language. THANK YOU! You have a wonderful way with words! As soon as I heard this I thought “You’ve got my vote!” Then I thought that I’d better be fair, so I went over to the award website and checked out the other parenting blog finalists. I hadn’t even heard of any of them but one. I visited all their blogs, and read multiple entries, and I’ll have to say, YOU’VE STILL GOT MY VOTE!
