Gotee records contacted me recently and asked me if I’d like to introduce you to new Christian/Gospel music artist Ayiesha Woods. I went to her site and listened to her stuff and I liked it, so I thought maybe you would too.

I LOVE Ayeisha Woods- I first heard her a couple years ago on a DC Talk Mix CD where different Gotee artists sang DC Talk songs…I think it was called Freaked. My husband bought me her first album, Introducing Ayeisha Woods, for my birthday a couple years ago, and I love it. This album sounds really great, too- I can tell you what I’ll be listening to on the computer the next few days!

I love new music. I recenly learned an expensive lesson with my iPod. My computer with my library on it crashed and on the recovery I lost the library. (I know – backup, backup backup) I dsicovered I can’t download what is on my iPod. Once I synch again with a computer, it’s lost. So I need new music!

Sounds like something from The Brady Bunch. I know there was a Brady Bunch Movie. I’m pretty sure the line was something from there, but that file in my brain is really rusty and dusty. Seems to me that the kids saw an African American family similar in size to their own and one of the girls was named Ayiesha or something like that.

Her sound reminds me of Anita Baker. I’m not that much of a music person — I like music but rarely know what’s popular or who sings what, but I really liked Anita back in the early 90s and still do.

I realize that I am way late but just wanted to say that Aieysha is Aieywesome. Saw her last year in DFW at the Revolve Tour and she blew our whole group away. I went right out to the concourse and purchased her CD & still listen to it regularly. My 13 yr old loves her too. She has a really interesting testimony as well. Her drummer is her brother.
