I was doubly (really triply) blessed that the year I asked for one, my mom told both sets of grands. One gave me "Margaret", and the othr gave me "joe" and "Joesphine" twins. I admit I still have them and hope o pass them on to a daughter (or possibly a granddaughter the way things are going- all boys- no interest...they don't have wheels or carry sufficient amounts of dirt to be interesting;-) Gotta say, I was really into Cabbage Patch dolls! Madame Alexander later discontinued the doll and my mom decided that it might become collectibe and it should be relegated to the shelf. I was sad, my daughter has no collectible dolls.
