Surely this was the most beautiful little girl ever born. I had almost decided that my husband, <i>her father, for Pete's sake,</i> had just been really tired when he said she looked like his ugly cousin right after she was born. But looking back, I see that little cone head and swollen eyes that didn't open for a month! Turns out, maybe she <i>wasn't</i> the most beautiful baby ever born. Maybe I was the only one who could see the beautiful heart that beat there in that little chest. She doesn't look like the ugly cousin anymore. She's grown into quite a lovely young woman and I am so blessed to be her mother. Like you, I am still passionately in love with my child.
